      Dogs use all their senses

Posted by Eileen on Sunday 21st January 2024 at 16:29:03
We roughly divide hounds into sight hounds - like a greyhound that sees the prey and gives chase, or scent hounds - like the basset hound who keeps his nose to the ground a follows a scent. But they use ALL their senses if needed. A dog may watch where we throw the ball, but if the ball lands out of sight, he will sniff around until he finds it. We humans don't use our senses enough. Let's take time to smell the roses, and look at them closely. God gave us senses to use for our pleasure and protection.
