Tip # 2 Check the cell number
Posted by Eileen on Friday 6th October 2023 at 08:36:12 If you see an ad for puppies (or anything) Google the cell number. It may bring up some shady deals the cell has been used for. Then you know that it's a scam. You can also use Truecaller to check the number. If there is no phone number then that should arouse suspicion because anyone selling puppies makes themselves as contactable as possible. There is a list of cell numbers used by scammers here - https://www.petsplace.co.za/scam-numbers.htm Next: Tip # 3 Don't let the scammer know you are suspicious!
