Tip # 3 Play along with the scammer!
Posted by Eileen on Thursday 5th October 2023 at 15:09:19 Don't let the seller know that you suspect it's a scam. If you accuse them of being a scammer, they get aggressive and deny it. They will try to make you feel bad about accusing them of being scammers. They may protest that they are religious people who would never scam anyone. They will invent a sense of urgency to make you pay. Rather keep your tone pleasant and find out as much as possible about them. Take screenshots of conversations before the seller has time to delete the posts. Get their full name, cell no., & bank account, but don't pay if you don't feel confident that it's not a scam. If you THINK it's a scam, it probably is! Next: Tip # 4: Do a VOICE call! Tags: #scam #screenshots Back to Topic Index |
