Location: We are situated in Birchleigh, Kempton Park, Johannesburg, South Africa.
We’re still in the early stages as Scotty Breeders, but believe that with the help of God we will be able to make a success of it. We strive to provide beautiful and healthy puppies to our buyers.
Our puppies are raised with love, personal handling and intensive care, therefore you can be assured that you as buyer will be the proud owner of a well socialized and outgoing puppy.
About the Scottish Terrier
Scotties are loyal and faithful companions. They are imposing and independent and because of that, sometimes give the impression that they don’t like to be touched or cuddled.
As they were originally bred in Scotland for the hunting of rabbits, foxes and badgers, they have a very courageous and highly intelligent attitude. They have a fearless temperament, but aren’t really aggressive.
Their colours differ from black, black/brindle, brindle or wheaten.
Height: 25cm – 28cm. Weight: 8.5kg – 10.5kg.
At birth the puppies vary from 15cm – 18cm.
Diet
Their diet consists of well-balanced dry dog food as well as a lot of raw veggies. They have a special liking for potatoes, carrots and green peppers, but will eat almost any veggie they can lay their paws on. (Tip: The veggies also help to reduce the chewing of shoes and other articles in and around your home… )
The legal stuff
Our Puppies are registered with KUSA. Registration certificates will be posted to new owners as soon as received from KUSA, or owner may collect. We do not put breeding restrictions on the papers, nor do we have a written contract for buyers to sign.
