About us

We started breeding dogs in 1986, and have bred many champions and top winners. Our dogs are first and foremost, our pets. They live in the house, and on the bed. They can all run together with no fights. Our puppies are born in the bedroom and we sleep with them until 3 weeks of age. They spend a large amount of time in the house or garden and are fully integrated with all the other dogs. We pride ourselves on well socialised, good tempered and easy to live with dogs, which are robust and have been screened for any health issues.
Our Dobermanns have been selectively bred to the top males available, locally and from imported dogs, yet all descend from our wonderful foundation dogs that we had 28 years ago. Many champions, several “best in show” and “best puppy in show” as well as “Supreme Dobermanns” have resulted.
We started breeding Irish setters in 1989, and breed only when we want a puppy. Our foundation stock started with a puppy from imported Belgian dogs, and we have consistently used only top bloodlines that are healthy, with excellent characters. We have not trained our dogs to hunt but they manage to catch pigeons out of the air regularly.

The Jack Russell’s crawled into our lives and our bed in 1999. We breed only KUSA registered dogs, both with rough and smooth coats. They have really strong instincts and are seriously effective at ratting, as well as the occasional snake.
